Final piece - field of skulls

Hooray, the last part of my final piece!
This one has changed a bit since I took the photo. The skulls at the front are a lot darker and stand out a lot more.
I'm not sure how I feel about this one.
This is the one that I had the image for from the the very beginning, and the one I have avoided so long because I knew it was going to be a bitch to paint.
Again, this one deals with technology, destruction and corruption. The fields of skulls represent the destruction of everything. Technology has caused all this death, yet in this piece, for the first time, there is a sense of hope. Though the crow with its glowing red eye, sitting atop the giant skull still stare out at you, in the background, there is life. Two wolves two crows, and a single red flower.
However, I still wanted to convey the idea of a world still very much in trouble, not only with the skulls, but with the background. I used various everyday objects that become unrecognisable when they are made bigger, in the background to give the sense that it is technology which is bringing all of this death.
This one is a little different, I used acrylic paint for the background, but the two bigs skull at the front, and the crow are drawn using soft pastel.
The three pieces will be put together using door hinges or something, so that they make a triangle shape that people will physically have to walk around to view. I'm hoping that the fact that these pieces are nearly as tall as I am will make them more daunting and will really leap out when people come to see them.
